A trip on the new Hippo Tours boat

Hi babes! Remember the new Hippo tours boat? I went for a ride on that boat! My mum and colleagues chartered a boat and it was like a luxurious cruise. It was like a restaurant on board. As we passed some bridges, our guide told us the names of the bridges as we passed. After the fireworks on our way to the alighting area, we passed a bridge and guess what our guide told us on the boat? He said," During the Japenese Occupation, if you did not listen to the Japenese, your head would be hung on that bridge".I was puzzled by what our guide said and asked," Is it if you did not listen to the Japanse, they will chop off your head and hang it there?" Our guide said," Yes". When I heard that, I felt lucky that we were not born during the Japanese Occupation or we will be dead and gone by now.
